Farmers have been saved with the backbreaking chore of slinging hay bales during the nineteen sixties, when Iowa State agricultural engineering professor Wesley Buchele and a group of pupil researchers invented a baler that generated massive, spherical bales that could be moved by tractor. The baler is becoming the predominant forage-managing equip
